Who we are

This website is operated by Jamie Clarke. When we say "we", "us" or "our" on this page, that's who we mean. If you need to get in touch about anything privacy-related, drop us a line via the contact page.

What we collect and why

We keep things minimal. Here's what we collect:

  • Form submissions — When you fill in a form on this site (e.g. to book a call, join the community, or subscribe to The Marketing Memo), we collect the information you provide such as your name and email address. We use this to respond to your enquiry and deliver the content you've signed up for.
  • Analytics — We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics tool. It tells us things like how many people visit the site and which pages are popular. It does not track you personally and does not use cookies.
  • Cookies — Our site itself sets minimal cookies. Third-party tools embedded on the site (such as form providers) may set their own cookies to function properly. We ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set.

How we use your data

We use the information you give us to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and deliver services you've requested
  • Send you content you've opted in to (like The Marketing Memo)
  • Improve the website based on anonymous usage patterns

We won't sell your data to anyone. Ever. We won't spam you either.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of third-party services to run the site and deliver content. These may process your data on our behalf:

  • Fathom Analytics — anonymous website analytics (no personal data)
  • The Marketing Portal — form handling and email delivery

We only work with providers that handle data responsibly.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or delete your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from emails)
  • Object to how we process your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO if you're not happy with how we've handled things

To exercise any of these rights, just get in touch.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data only as long as we need it. If you unsubscribe from our emails, we'll remove you from our mailing list. If you ask us to delete your data, we will.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
