SEO & Google Profile

When locals search, be the one they find.

Someone nearby needs exactly what you do. They search, look at the map and ring one of the top three. If that's not you, the job's just gone to someone else, maybe someone worse. I get your Google profile and your website set up properly, so the people already looking for you actually find you.

The problem

Why the phone stays quiet

01

You're good at what you do, but nobody can find you

Being great at your job doesn't move you up Google Maps, and that's where local customers look first. If you're not in the top few, most people never scroll down to you.

02

Your Google profile looks abandoned

Three photos from 2019, opening hours that are wrong, and reviews nobody has replied to. To a stranger, that reads as "might not still be trading".

03

SEO companies have burnt you before

A twelve-month contract, reports full of jargon, and rankings for words nobody actually searches. I get it, and it's why I do it differently.

Not sure this is your actual problem? The free review will tell you, even if the answer is "you don't need me".

Who it's for

Is this for you? No worries if not.

I'd rather point you at the right thing than sell you the wrong one.

Yes, if any of these sound like you

  • Customers find you by searching, not by referral
  • You're not in the top three on Google Maps for what you do
  • Your Google profile is thin, out of date, or full of unanswered reviews

Probably not, if

  • You want to be top of Google by next week
  • You'd rather not ask your customers for reviews
  • Nobody searches for what you do in your area

Not sure either way? Let's have a quick chat and I'll tell you straight.

What you get

Everything it takes
to be found locally.

Your Google Business Profile, done properly

Categories, services, areas, photos, opening hours and questions, all filled in properly. It's the thing that decides whether you show up on the map.

Your competitors checked

I look at who's above you on Google and why, so we know exactly what it'll take to get past them.

Review request messages

Ready-to-send messages for text, email and WhatsApp, so asking for a review takes seconds rather than feeling awkward.

Your website set up for local searches

Page titles, structure and wording sorted, so the searches that bring in work land on the right page of your site.

Pages for your towns and services

If you cover a few areas or do a few different things, each one gets a proper page, so you can show up for more than just your business name.

A walkthrough to keep it going

I show you how to keep your profile active yourself. If you'd rather I did it every month, that's Ongoing Marketing.

What it costs

A Google Business Profile setup is around £395 + VAT per location. On-page SEO lands between £995 and £2,995 + VAT, depending on the size of the site. Fixed quote, agreed first.

Not sure what you need? Your Marketing Plan maps it out for £495 + VAT, and that comes off any build.

How it works

From hard to find to first on the list.

1

See where you are now

I search for what your customers search for, see where you show up, and compare you with the businesses above you.

2

Sort your Google profile

Built out properly, from the categories and services to the photos and questions. This is usually the quickest win.

3

Fix the website side

If your site needs it, I sort the page titles, structure and wording, and add pages for your towns and services.

4

Hand it over

A walkthrough of what's been done and what to keep doing each week. Or, if you'd rather not think about it, I keep it going for you.

Fair questions

The questions SEO agencies dodge.

How long until I see results?

Profile improvements often show within weeks. Proper movement in the rankings usually takes two to four months, depending on your area and who you're up against. Anyone promising page one in a fortnight is lying to you.

Do I need a contract?

No. The setup is a one-off job at a fixed price. If you'd like me to keep it going every month, that's Ongoing Marketing, and that's rolling with no contract either.

Can I just get the profile sorted and run it myself?

Yes. A Google Business Profile setup is around £395 + VAT per location, built properly and handed over with a walkthrough.

What's the difference between this and Ongoing Marketing?

This is about getting found: your Google profile, the map, reviews and local searches, set up properly in one go. Ongoing Marketing is me running the whole lot every month, including your content and emails. If getting found is your only gap, start here.

What if I have more than one location?

Each location gets its own profile setup, around £395 + VAT each. If you want them all looked after every month, that's Ongoing Marketing.
